We had fought with honour and won our titles.

We had overcome trials together -

Watching dozens of our siblings fall in the line of duty.

For this they had promised us, a wondrous welcome;

A bountiful world of adventure, with a myriad of paths.

All this, they said, awaited us in the stone cities.

Large metropolises, where the working folk resided...

There were hundreds of us, who made that journey.

Walking miles across the scorching desert,

Clinging to a hope of the fortunes beyond.

Yet what awaited us was not a promised land -

Nor was it a life based on the merit we had earned.

You don't just die.Do you understand?
The blade against your wrist
Doesn't just slice your skin.
It cuts through others
Hearts
Souls
And sanity.

Do you understand?
You don't just kill yourself.
You kill everyone.
Everyone dies
Everyone cries
Everyone suffers

when the fingerprints of my insecurities

Pretty Blue PillsPretty blue pills,
shiny in my palm,

They're so perfectly round,

That should be enough,
but I'll play it safe.

Now I have no more to take.

The bottle is empty,
as empty as I feel.
None of this is happening,
too good to be real.

But soon I start to drift
into a dark unknown fog.
Somewhere quite distantly.
I hear a muffled sob.

But I blow it off as fake.
Nobody could possibly care.

My soul is at war, it is a fight
between the human and the monster in me,

The monster controls me...

I must pretend that I am a human...

Young blackbird

The young blackbird, stood at the border of his nest. Today he would make it. Today he would fly and he wouldn't depend on the care of his parents any more. One step closer to freedom. The earth's beneath my wings,
and the clouds just cross my way.
I forget about the things,
that made my world hopeless and gray.

Now my colors are sky's blue,
and green, shining from the ground.
Till now I never knew,

So I'm opening again,
my locker full of masks.
I'm wondering when,
one of my faces will finally last.

One believe changes for another,
'cause I fear others think it's wrong,
I've always asked myself where,
where do I belong?

Changed my faces far to often,
can't tell which one's real,
I watch my own faith rotten,
and my heart begins to seal.

So, after centurys, finally a new upload. Found it in my documents and I think it's kinda good or at least ok...well anyways, as always critics and suggestions for improvement are highly appriciated. I hope I'll be able to make aomething new again soon, but I still got some kind of an artblock....
